At the turn of the 20th century, Kokmuiža was home to one of the largest breweries in the Governate of Livonia, with their award-winning beer gaining international recognition.
To restart the brand & grow the business, we aimed to improve the design in three key areas: first, highlighting the brand name as the central element on every label; second, improving product differentiation among products within the brand lineup; and third, developing a cost-effective design system that would allow for the creation of multiple cost-effective designs within a short timeframe, without exceeding the budget.
A bold new design system that puts the brand name front and center on every label and eye-catching shapes and colors set each product apart, making it easy for consumers to find their favorite brews on the shelf.
As a result, sales increased by 120%, while the overall beer category in the country decreased by 7% in the same year.
